Volunteers Needed: Winter Commencement

Idaho State’s Winter Commencement will be held Saturday, December 16, at 11 a.m., in Holt Arena. Because this is a large-scale event, we need volunteers to help make the day run smoothly for our graduates and their guests. Volunteer roles will include ushers, check-in staff, processional support, ceremony flow, and more. 

If you would like to volunteer, please complete the Commencement Volunteer Sign Up form ASAP. Volunteers will receive instructions and will have the opportunity to attend a pre-commencement walkthrough the week of the ceremony.

Employees who wish to volunteer for this event should coordinate with their supervisor prior to signing up. Classified staff will be compensated for time worked during commencement and must coordinate with their supervisors to determine whether this time will be managed as work hour adjustments, compensatory time, or paid overtime.
