Now Open: Nominations for Distinguished Teacher Award

Nominations for the ISU Distinguished Teacher Award are now open,  This is a great opportunity for you to recognize and nominate your faculty who have excelled as teachers and mentors. Those recognized will be honored during a reception in April and during the 2024 Commencement exercises.

Nominations for this award are due by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Additional information and nomination forms are available online.

Distinguished Teacher Award

A faculty member is selected from the ISU faculty who exemplifies excellence in teaching and has made significant contributions in teaching. You are invited to nominate a member of the faculty who, in your judgment, meets these standards. Nominees should be any member of the University faculty currently in their third or subsequent year of full-time service at ISU and will continue as a faculty member for 2024-2025. In order for a nomination to be valid they must be nominated by at least two people- one from each of the following groups: faculty, staff, students, and/or alumni.
