Mark Andersen Named Associate VP for Facilities Services

The Division of Campus Operations is pleased to announce that after a nationwide search effort, Mark Andersen has accepted the offer to join the ISU team as our Associate VP and Chief Facilities Officer. Andersen will begin his appointment at ISU on November 30, 2023.

Andersen comes with a wealth of experience as the Chief Facilities Officer for Gillette Community College where he has been an invaluable resource for the entire campus community. Leadership from the College, both past and present, consistently referenced his strength of character and inspiring leadership abilities throughout all levels of the organization. With the praise received from leaders at his current institution, and the highly positive feedback received as a result of his on-campus interview, it was clear that Andersen would be an excellent addition to the Idaho State University campus community.
