ISU Faculty Recognized by American Medical Informatics Association

The American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) recognized Dr. Velma L. Payne and colleague’s publication 'Accomplished Women Leaders in Informatics: Insights About Successful Careers' in the 2023 Year in Review. Articles included in the Year in Review are determined to be impactful, important, and noteworthy by AMIA executives who select articles through an extensive literature and peer review process. Dr. Payne’s work, published in the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association (JAMIA), was a collaborative effort with researchers from Stanford University, University of California-San Diego, University of Utah, and Deloitte.
