ISU Faculty receives Forum for Behavioral Science in Family Medicine's Impact Award

Dr. Verena Roberts, director of Behavioral Science and clinical professor in the Family Medicine Residency program at ISU, was recently honored with the Impact Award by the Forum for Behavioral Science in Family Medicine.
Dr. Roberts, along with Drs. Christopher Haymaker and Kaitlin Leckie gave a presentation on innovative teaching by using infographics to teach residents in family medicine.
The presentation, titled "Innovative Instruction with Infographics for Clinical Teaching in Residency," consisted of a workshop teaching other educators who work in family medicine residencies across the country on how to develop and utilize their own infographics. The presentation was chosen unanimously, over 50 others, as the most highly rated in terms of impact to the behavioral science community.
