College of Health Teaching Fellowship Awardee

Dr. Velma L. Payne, Health Informatics Program Director, has being selected as this year’s College of Health Teaching Fellow. Her experiences and achievements met the criteria for Educational Leadership, Teaching Excellence, and Innovation.

This fellowship demonstrates the college’s pride in her academic career and showcases the institution’s support of individual teaching excellence and her positive impact on student learning. As part her fellowship responsibilities, she will work with leadership to plan faculty development or teaching and learning activities, and serve as a member of the Teaching Fellowship Committee for future years.
