Center for Advanced Energy Studies to Host Webinar

The Center for Advanced Energy Studies is hosting a webinar, "CoMotion," Nov. 14 from noon to 1 p.m. with Soraya Bailey, Innovation Training Director at University of Washington’s technology transfer office, CoMotion, and the former Program Director for the UW Master of Applied Bioengineering program. 

Bailey is an accomplished professional with an interest in supporting innovators and entrepreneurs who translate their ideas from lab to reality. As the Innovation Training Director at University of Washington’s technology transfer office, CoMotion, and the former Program Director for the UW Master of Applied Bioengineering program, she has had the opportunity to mentor and advise more than 40 teams through the commercialization process starting at problem definition to user testing. She currently directs the western Washington regional NSF I-Corps program and is fostering relationships across the greater Pacific Northwest to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.
