News from Office of Recruitment

The month of February brought upon busy days for our office. The February 15 scholarship deadline passed with a total of 4,507 admitted students! Our team sent out multiple forms of communication to encourage our students to complete their applications in time for scholarship awarding. This included over 11,000 emails, 6,000 pieces of print mail, 2,000 SMS messages and over 1,000 personalized phone calls. 

This month also kicked off the Treasure Valley portion of the Higher Education Tour. Our Treasure Valley team visited over 50 high schools throughout a 3-week period to meet high school juniors and share all that Idaho State has to offer. During the month of March, our Admissions Team will be traveling to the remaining regions of the Higher Education Tour, visiting almost every single high school in the state. 

Our Transfer team was also busy in February, hosting events at CWI, CEI, CSI, TVCC, and NIC. In addition to our Transfer events, we hosted an Adult Learner FAFSA Night, an ASISU webinar, and a scholarships webinar. 

We are continuing the excitement with events in the upcoming months and appreciate all of the amazing support from our faculty and staff on campus. In March and April we will be hosting a College of Business Open House, College of Education Open House, College of Arts and Letters Open House, Health Science Experience Night, and Bengal Visit Day. 

This year will be the first time since 2019 that we have been able to host any of our recruitment events in person. We have a lot of very excited students, parents, and counselors ready to experience Idaho State!
