National Farmworker Awareness Week Events

Idaho State University's High School Equivalency Program and College Assistance Migrant Program are hosting a series of campus events to celebrate National Farmworker Awareness Week March 25-31.

The week's events include film showings, a clothing drive, an art show, and a discussion panel, all honoring farmworkers and their contributions to our economy and our tables.  Events are free and open to all. 

Below is a schedule of events: 

• March 29-31: K-12 Art Exhibition - Bengal Theater Lobby
• March 29, 7 p.m.: Delores, documentary film showing- Heritage Room, Pond Student Union
• March 30: Discussion Panel- Bengal Cafe, Pond Student Union
• March 30: Film showing- Cesar Chavez, 7 p.m. Bengal Theater
• March 28-April 4: Long-sleeved shirt drive
