Monthly Recruitment Update
May 5, 2022
The month of April brought on a lot of prep work for Bengal Visit Day. Our team sent over 100,000 emails, 700 texts, and 40,000 pieces of print mail to help bring students to campus for this event. We also helped the Scholarship Office contact over 2,500 students in preparation for the scholarship acceptance deadline on May 1.
To say that Bengal Visit Day was successful is an understatement. We had 591 students attend the event, and a total of 1,353 total attendees on our campus. That is a 66.4 percent increase from 2019.
Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered to help at this event, the feedback that we are getting from students is phenomenal. We will be sharing survey results from the participants and the volunteers in the next newsletter. We also hosted a virtual open day on Saturday, April 30 and will include updates from that event in the May newsletter. Outside of Bengal Visit Day, our team was busy with high school visits, college fairs, and webinars throughout the month of April. We were able to attend the first ever West Ada College and Career Fair in Meridian which had over 1,000 students in attendance.
Our team was also able to host two virtual webinars which included information about our CAMP Program, and a Current Student Panel. Stay tuned for next month’s newsletter which will include updates on scholarship nights and graduation celebrations from high schools across the state. All are welcome to view the entire breakdown of the month and keep track of progress throughout the year.
