January Recruitment Update

2022 started off with a bang! The Admissions Team is hard at work preparing for the February 15t deadline, with most of our communication focused on helping students complete their applications. Before Winter break, our Recruitment Team traveled to 24 different high school visits and hosted 60 individual tours and 2 campus group tours. Through our various email, text, and print communications we had more than 57,000 contacts with students in January. Our team also helped with over 1,500 Spring 2022 disenrollment calls. 

Sadly, our event for January (Counselor Day) had to be canceled due to the increase in COVID cases on campus. However, we still sent all of our registered counselors a gift bag with a link to watch all of the presentations on demand. 

 Starting February 1, our team will be participating in the IACRAO Spring 2022 Higher Education Tour! During this tour, our Recruitment team will be traveling across the entire state to meet with students interested in Idaho State. We will have updated information for you on the Treasure Valley portion of the tour in our February Newsletter. 

In the month of January, two of our recruiters attended the CSI Transfer Fair in Twin Falls where they spoke with potential Transfer students about completing their degree at ISU. We also hosted two virtual webinars highlighting the Transfer Admissions process and the University Honors Program!
