ISU Graduate Student Accepted into the Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning

Candace Boesiger, a student in the College of Education's Instructional Design and Technology Ed.D. program has been accepted into the Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning (IELOL).
The IELOL is a unique blended-learning leadership development program sponsored by the Online Learning Consortium and Arizona State University. IELOL participants work with colleagues from around the world to explore and understand both the opportunities and barriers to advancing local and global online learning. Boesiger is a learning designer in the Teaching & Learning Center at the College of Southern Idaho by day and ecstatic to be able to network and learn from IELOL faculty across the nation.
"The IDT program has given me the foundational knowledge necessary to succeed in my job as a learning designer.,” she said. “With the content I am learning in class, I can help faculty make sound pedagogical decisions that help drive student success."
