Webinar Invitation: Tips for Preparing a Successful 2022 USDA RUS-DLT Grant application
October 10, 2022
Join Learn Design Apply, Inc. and special guest speakers for a webinar covering the upcoming Rural Utilities Services Distance Learning and Telemedicine grant program, funded through the USDA. This program provides grants to encourage and improve telemedicine and distance learning services in rural areas through the use of telecommunications, computer networks, and related advanced technologies to be used by students, teachers, medical professionals, and rural residents.
During this webinar, the Learn Design Apply, Inc. team along with members of the USDA's Rural Utilities Services General Field Representative team will review the basic elements and requirements for building a competitive grant application. Additionally, we will be joined by a two-time recipient of this grant funding, Idaho State University, to share best practices and personal experience with this program.
Idaho State University representatives Kandi Turley Ames, Michele Brumley, and Holly Kartchner, will be talking about the INCLUDE I and INCLUDE II grants. The INCLUDE grants facilitate outreach to rural high schools in Idaho, involving distance education and telehealth services.
