Update from Admissions

The months of October and November were both busy and rewarding for Recruitment and Admissions.

October is National College Application Month and our team traveled to several states and cultivated new relationships with prospective students.  We also traveled to 83 different high school visits, attended 40 college fairs, and hosted 137 individual tours and 25 campus group tours.  Through our various forms of email, text, and print communications we had more than 146,000 contacts with students in the past two months. 

In addition to a busy month of traveling in October we also hosted our fall preview day, Experience ISU.  Event follow-up survey results show that 87% of students interest increased in ISU substantially after attending Experience ISU.  With almost 700 students and guests in attendance it made for an exciting atmosphere on campus. 

We also hosted Health Experience Night in Meridian and for the first time Health Science Experience Night in Pocatello!  We look forward to building on the success of these events and showcasing all that our Health Science programs have to offer. 

It’s true that we could not have had these two successful months without the help and support of all of the amazing staff, faculty, and students on campus.
