University Honors Program invites course proposals for Honors Seminar
October 20, 2022
The University Honors Program is once again inviting course proposals for Honors Seminar (HONS 3391).
HONS 3391 is a 1-credit, no-prerequisite course where you can propose your dream class. Course proposals should be a paragraph long and describe an engaging concept not already covered by existing courses at ISU. Special consideration will be given to interdisciplinary proposals, and co-teaching is allowed.
Course proposals that are selected will be taught in the 2023-2024 school year, with an opportunity to renew the following year. This course is beyond standard teaching expectations and comes with a small paid contract to reflect the additional teaching load.
Proposals are due Nov. 15 and can be submitted through a Google form. Please direct any questions to Dr. Shannon Kobs Nawotniak, the University Honors Program Director, at shannonkobs@isu.edu.
