Tips from the Registrar's Office: Incomplete Grades and Degree Requirements
September 28, 2022
Did you know? An incomplete or “I” grade will not exclude a previously taken course. When the incomplete or "I" grade is completed, and the instructor has submitted the final grade (A, B, C, etc.) to the Registrar’s office, then the exclude and include process goes into effect for repeated courses. In other words, if you have an “I” on your transcript for a course you are repeating, the repeated class will not be counted as repeated until the final grade is reported. For more information, check out Credit and Grading Policies < Idaho State University.
Did you know? Any exceptions for General Education or Degree requirements must be petitioned and approved by the Provost. Have questions? Contact the Office of the Registrar at reginfo@isu.edu or (208) 282-4231.
