Recruitment Monthly Update- September

We cannot believe that the month of September is already over! The Recruitment Team kicked off this school year strong with over 80,000 emails, 14,000 texts, and 30,000 pieces of print mail to help bring students to campus! 

In September, we participated in IACRAO Counselor Days, where we updated counselors across the state on what to expect this year from Idaho State. In October, we will be hosting our own individualized counselor event here on campus to continue building connections with our local school counselors and career advisors.  Our Admissions Advisors have visited over 55 high schools in the month of September along with attending 28 college fairs. Along with traveling across the entire state, they have also traveled throughout the west to Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado to speak to students about their future at Idaho State. Our team will be traveling to Washington, Oregon, and Nevada over the next few months as well. 

In September we hosted our Backyard BBQ in conjunction with the Bengal Volleyball game against UNC. We had a blast welcoming our local students to kick off the school year with food, games, and more! In total we had 59 students with 76 guests in attendance and our follow up survey indicated 100% satisfaction and 100% increased interest in ISU.  We have also been working hard to promote our upcoming recruitment event, Experience ISU on Friday, October 28.
