Nominations Sought for Distinguished Faculty

Nominations are being sought for three of the annual awards for Idaho State University faculty members. Those recognized will be honored during a reception in April and during the 2023 Commencement exercises.
Nominations for the Distinguished Teacher, Service, and Researcher are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023. Additional information and nomination forms are available online.
Distinguished Teacher Award
A faculty member is selected from the ISU faculty who exemplifies excellence in teaching and has made significant contributions in teaching. You are invited to nominate a member of the faculty who, in your judgment, meets these standards. Nominees should be any member of the University faculty currently in their third or subsequent year of full-time service at ISU and will continue as a faculty member for 2023-2024. Nominations are being sought from ISU's faculty, staff, the student body, and alumni.
Distinguished Service Award
A faculty member is selected from the ISU faculty who has made significant contributions in service to the University and society. Please consider service attributes only. Elements such as research and teaching are not to be considered for this award. Nominees should be any member of the University faculty currently in their third or subsequent year of full-time service at ISU and will continue as a faculty member for 2023-2024. Nominations are being sought from ISU's faculty, administration, and the public.
Distinguished Research Award
A faculty member is selected from the ISU faculty who has made significant contributions in research to the University and society. Nominations are being sought from any member of the university faculty currently in their third or subsequent year of full-time service at Idaho State University. The nominees must be continuing as a member of the University faculty for 2023-2024.
