Call for FY2024 ITS and Facilities Projects Planning
September 6, 2022
We are excited to announce the launch of our annual Call for Projects process to the campus community.
This is a critically important aspect of our annual Facilities and IT project planning as we identify institutional priorities with leadership related to the allocation of time and resources for the greatest project needs of Idaho State University. Each year, this process results in committing significant time and energy into project planning along with funding proposals and resource commitments. We invite each of you to work with your respective units in the consideration of, and submission of project proposals as we plan for projects that will shape the future of ISU.
Overview
Phase I of the Call for Projects process will be launched September 6, 2022 and will invite all units to submit IT and/or Facilities based project proposals through their respective Department Head, Dean/Director, and Vice President. With the support of departmental leadership, these proposals will be reviewed, vetted, and rated by Facilities and IT subcommittees. Leadership Council will then review ranked/vetted project recommendations for consideration of advancement to Phase II of the process during the Spring semester. During Phase II of project prioritization, Facilities and IT teams will conduct feasibility analysis for schedules while also considering project scope and funding plans. Facilities and IT leadership plan on reviewing an initial ranked list of projects with Leadership Council in the spring semester as final recommendations are made for Administrative Council consideration and approval prior to the start of FY24.
For additional information, instructions, and to submit an FY24 project proposal, please visit the Project Request Knowledgebase. Project proposals are due by October 7, 2022. Please contact Cheryl Hanson and Lisa Lewis Mangum with any questions regarding Facilities and/or IT projects as you field inquiries from your respective units. We look forward to working with your teams as we move forward with these mission critical planning efforts.
