Summer Hours to Start Monday, May 10
April 15, 2021
Idaho State University will continue the longstanding tradition of summer hours for employees. To support employees in fully enjoying the summer season, the University’s administrative office hours will shift to Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break, beginning on Monday, May 10. Summer hours apply to telework and on-campus working arrangements. Standard office hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break, will resume on Monday, August 9, 2021.
Managers are encouraged to use flexibility and creativity in determining the best schedule for their operations and as they prepare for teams to transition back to campus. Management at all campus locations should consult with their respective vice presidents, where needed, if alternate schedules might be better suited for meeting the needs of students or their specific operational needs.
As a reminder, Idaho State University will be closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 31, and Independence Day will be observed on Monday, July 5. For more information on the remaining state holidays, please see the 2021 Holiday Schedule. All questions regarding summer hours should be directed to Human Resources by calling (208) 282-2517.
