COVID-19 Screening Program Begins Second Phase
February 4, 2021
Idaho State University is transitioning the return-to-campus COVID-19 screening program to the second phase, which is a smaller-scale targeted approach, for the rest of the semester.
-
Students, faculty, and staff selected for screening appointments during this phase will receive an email from screening@isu.edu.
-
Appointments will be made online using the University’s health portal.
-
Individuals who did not complete their mandatory screening in January will be included.
As first announced last semester, the second phase of the University’s ongoing screening program will target populations of students, faculty, and staff with a physical presence on campus. Idaho State leadership and the Health Committee will work together to select individuals––by program, department, on-campus housing accomodations, etc.–– to make a COVID-19 screening appointment.
Students, faculty, and staff who have an approved exemption will not be included in the ongoing screening program.
The ongoing, saliva-based screening program is based on recommendations from the medical community and best practices within higher education. It is an important tool, along with our other precautions, to reduce the spread of COVID-19 at Idaho State. For more information about the screening program, visit isu.edu/RoaringBack.
