Snow Removal on Sidewalks and in Parking Lots

Facilities Services is well prepared for the upcoming winter season and the possibility of snow accumulation on all campuses. If snow is expected in the weather forecast, crews will arrive early to begin clearing campus roads and parking lots.

To the best of their ability, crews will also shovel and salt all sidewalks, stairs, and other walkways prior to 8 a.m. However, if you arrive on campus before the snow has been cleared, please be prepared for the possibility of drifting snow and icy conditions. Proper shoes with traction may be needed. 

The safety of all students, faculty, and staff is a primary concern for the University. On days when inclement weather is expected that has a possibility of disrupting operations, the University will send an email and text alert with additional instructions.
