Seeking Nominations for 2022 Professional Achievement and Outstanding Student Achievement Award

To celebrate the accomplishments of our alumni and students, each spring the ISU Alumni Association sponsors the Professional Achievement Awards (PAA) and the Outstanding Student Achievement Awards (OSA).

The Professional Achievement Awards recognize some of the most influential alumni for their valuable and distinguished contributions to Idaho State University, their profession and their community. The Outstanding Student Achievement Awards are the most prestigious awards given by the university to Bengal students. The Outstanding Student Achievement Awards are presented in recognition of the hard work, discipline, and academic excellence exemplified by these student leaders.

Nominations for the PAA and OSA close on Friday, Nove. 19. You can submit your nominations online for the PAA here and here for OSA. 

A little more about the awards is found below:

 Professional Achievement Awards

• Given annually during spring Commencement
• Recognizes Bengal alumni for their valuable and distinguished contributions to Idaho State University, their professions and to their communities
• Must be an alumnus/alumna of Idaho State University
• Must show significant success and/or accomplishment in the nominating field
• Must have been graduated for at least 10 years

Outstanding Student Achievement Awards

• Recognizes graduating students in December 2021 or May 2022 who have demonstrated outstanding service to their respective college, to Idaho State University and to the community, and who also have exceptional scholastic achievement.
• Academic achievement/honors 
• Extra-curricular activities
