Idaho State University Office of Recruitment and Admission October Update

October was an extremely busy and exciting month for Idaho State University Recruitment and Admissions! 

October is National College Application Month and our team had a very successful month, filled with lots of travel and interaction with our prospective students. 

We imported 4,217 Apply Idaho Applications and admitted over 1,400 students alone in the month of October. 

Our team traveled to 60 different high school visits, 18 college fairs, and hosted 75 individual tours and nine campus group tours. Through our various email, text, and print communications we had more than 100,000 contacts with students in October. 

In addition to a busy month of traveling and processing applications, we also hosted our fall preview day - Experience ISU.  At this virtual open house, 177 students logged in and viewed more thn 1,000 videos and 2,000 documents. Event follow-up survey results show that 97 percent of attendees indicated that their interest in ISU has increased after attending Experience ISU. 

We could not have had this successful month without the help and support of all of the amazing staff, faculty, and students on campus!
