Fall 2021 GET-FIT Program Offers Lots of Group Fitness Options
August 30, 2021
The ISU Wellness Center’s Fall 2021 GET-FIT Program has started (currently with masks/face coverings required) with in-person classes scheduled mornings, at noon and some nights Monday-Friday and at 9 a.m. on Saturdays at Reed Gym.
Classes are free to try out through Sept. 2.
The Wellness Center will continue to follow all University Covid-10 protocols; therefore, masks/face coverings are currently required for participants regardless of vaccination status. We will update this requirement in conjunction with university-wide updates.
As always, there is a variety of classes to appeal to all fitness pursuits – from yoga to spinning - for "masked marauders" chasing their fitness goals.
Visit https://www.isu.edu/wellness/get-fit/ for the complete Fall 2021 GET-FIT class schedule.
The Fall 2021 registration form is also available as a PDF on the GET-FIT webpage.
The cost per semester for a GET-FIT Passport is $30 for students, $55 for ISU community members, including faculty, staff, spouses, and some others (see website for more details), and $80 for non-ISU community members.
GET-FIT Passport holders can go to as many of 16 weekly sessions now scheduled that they can fit in during the semester. Passport holders also have access to recorded workouts available in a Google Drive folder that they can choose to do anywhere and anytime that works for them.
The Cardio/Strength classes include Cardio Tone, Step Mix, Muscle Pump, Metabolic Burn, Spinning, Step Tabata, Strength and Mobility, and Zumba. The Mind/Body classes include Nia, Pilates, and yoga. On Saturdays at 9 a.m., either a Cardio/Strength or Mind/Body class will be offered on a rotating basis.
