Announcing the Internal Small Grant Program
October 11, 2021
The Office for Research is pleased to announce two internal grant opportunities during this academic year: the Internal Small Grant Program for fall semester and the Seed Grant Program for spring semester. Applications for the Internal Small Grant Program may be submitted now.
The purpose of the Internal Small Grant Program is to expand the capacity for research and creative activity at ISU. Funding is made available by the Office for Research and comes from facilities and administrative costs resulting from external grant and contract funding. The Office for Research relies on the ISU Research Council to make recommendations to the vice president for research in as fair and as transparent a way as possible, that supports all areas, types, and disciplines of research and creative activity by all full-time ISU faculty. For more information, please visit the Internal Small Grant Program website.
"The Office for Research is pleased to support the Internal Small Grants Program," said Donna L. Lybecker, acting Vice President for Research. "Expanding opportunities for relevant research and creative endeavors is beneficial for faculty, students, the university, and our communities. We are excited to see how these funds foster new ideas and maintain innovative research and creative endeavors, at ISU."
"The Research Council always looks forward to seeing the wide range of excellent research and creative activities taking place here at ISU," said Steve Lawyer, chair of the Research Council. "And we enjoy working together to help promote research excellence at the University"
The application period for the Seed Grant Program will open during the spring semester.
