After an extensive national search, Idaho State University has named Blake Christensen as University General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Christensen currently serves as Associate General Counsel for Montana State University, where he advises on a broad range of issues related to higher education and the functions of a research institution. He brings a sincere dedication to our university mission and enthusiasm for building collaborative relationships.
“I am confident Blake will help us to develop our legal and compliance office,” President Kevin Satterlee said. “I look forward to working with Blake and supporting him as he enhances our University’s efforts.”
Christensen has been with Montana State since 2014. Prior to serving as Associate General Counsel, he was associate director of MSU Extension’s Local Government Center, where he provided training and assistance to local governments across Montana.
