ISU Early Learning Center closed March 23
Idaho State University is committed to ensuring that we provide a safe, quality learning environment for the Early Learning Center’s children, families, and staff.
Following updated guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and local public health officials, the Early Learning Centers in both Pocatello and Idaho Falls have made the difficult decision to suspend child care services starting on March 23.
These services will remain suspended until April 6, at which point we will re-evaluate the situation and provide an update. No childcare fees will be charged while services are suspended due to COVID-19. This was a difficult but necessary decision for the health and safety of our ISU community.
During the ELC closure, staff are available by telephone Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please call (208) 282-2769. You can also email us at elc@isu.edu, check the ELC’s newsletter on our website at isu.edu/elc, or check the University’s COVID-19 website at isu.edu/coronavirus for additional information.
Please take care of yourselves. We hope to see you again when ISU’s Early Learning Centers reopen.
