Dr. Edward Kammerer Receives Outstanding Teaching Award from Northeastern University
February 18, 2020
Dr. Edward Kammerer, Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, recently received the Outstanding Teaching Award for Part-Time Instructors from Northeastern University's College of Social Sciences and Humanities, where he teaches summer courses in Political Science. The Award Committee was specifically impressed with how he connects legal issues with the values that underpin them, encouraging students to question not just what the law is, but why the law is that way. Dr. Kammerer completed his PhD in Northeastern's School of Public Policy, and has taught courses there part time since 2009.
