Lydia Wilkes Presents at Conferences

Dr. Lydia Wilkes, Assistant Professor of English, presented a paper, “Transgender Veteran Performances in and out of the Classroom," at the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) in March. 

She was also invited to speak about the future of first-year composition at the Conference on “Futures of Rhetcomp” at Indiana University-Bloomington on April 5-6. She presented “Fiery Futures for First Year Composition?: Revising the Firefighter Metaphor Toward Sustainability.”
