ISU Student Sandra Carrillo Receives Friends of NAEOP Scholastic Achievement Award

 ISU Politcal Science and Business Administration student Sandra Carrillo received the Friends of NAEOP Scholastic Achievement Award of $1,500. The award was based on academic merit and overcoming barriers to achieve outstanding academic success. Sandra was awarded this scholarship for her participation in the TRIO McNair Scholars program and outstanding academic achievements at ISU. Out of over 60 applicants in the NAEOP region (Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington), Sandra was one of 10 total recipients of the scholarship and the only ISU TRIO student to receive an award this year. Sandra was recognized at an awards luncheon at the NAEOP conference in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on October 21.
