Free Access to New York Times
December 5, 2019
Idaho State University and The New York Times have reached an agreement to provide digital subscriptions for all current students, faculty and staff. The Times' Institutional Access Project launched this week at Idaho State, and free subscriptions are available right now at www.accessnyt.com.
Once registered, Bengals will have access to NYTimes.com and its mobile application using their school email address. Access also includes archives dating back to 1851 and curricular resources for faculty through nytimes.com/edu.
ISU’s Department of Communication, Media, and Persuasion helped the project become a reality through oversight and monetary support. The New York Times is known for providing excellent reporting on the science and technology sectors, issues of health and wellness, business matters, travel, and arts and entertainment.
