Adding Broader Impacts statement to Grant Proposals

 The National Science Foundation guidelines for proposal development require a statement on broader impacts. The guidelines state "The statement on broader impacts should describe the potential of the proposed activity to benefit society and contribute to the achievement of specific, desired societal outcomes."
