16th annual reunion luncheon for retired ISU employees is Oct. 24 at Juniper Hills Country Club
September 23, 2019
POCATELLO – Let’s have lunch. The 16th annual reunion for the ISU family of faculty and staff retirees will again be a luncheon. Retired ISU faculty and staff and spouses as well as spouses of deceased retirees are invited to attend on Thursday, Oct. 24, at Juniper Hills Country Club.
Social activities start with an informal get-together at 11:30 a.m., followed at noon by a luncheon featuring a deli-style sandwich bar, salads, dessert and beverages to include coffee, tea or punch. A no-host bar is available.
The informal organizing committee of Ron and Joan McCune, Emma Gebo, Bob Pearce, KC Felt, Deb Thompson, Chris Daniels and Glenn Alford once again stresses that this will be an enjoyable get-together that provides an opportunity to reconnect with longtime friends in the ISU community. No speeches, presentations, politics, fund-raising or entertainment will interfere with the social activities. Whether you have attended every reunion or are thinking about going for the first time, we hope you will join us on Oct. 24.
We welcome volunteers to serve on the planning committee, especially former classified ISU employees. If interested, contact any committee member.
The luncheon cost of $24 per person includes tax and gratuity as well as the expense of contacting more than 800 retired Bengals. Prepayment no later than Oct. 18 is required. Payment should be sent to ISU Retirees Reunion, c/o Ron McCune, 30 Colgate St., Pocatello, ID 83201. Please make checks out to ISU Retirees Reunion. With payment, please enclose how you want your name tag and the name tag(s) of any guests to read.
Retirees who know of other retired ISU employees or spouses of deceased retirees not receiving an invitation or who have moved are asked to inform a committee member.
