Japan Club presentation on Bushido and martial arts set April 19

POCATELLO — Idaho State University’s Japan Club will present on two traditional aspects of Japanese culture, Bushido and martial arts, on Thursday, April 19, 6-7:30 p.m. in the North Fork Room on the third floor of the Pond Student Union.
Bushido is the code of moral principles adhered to by samurai, which included all aspects of one’s life such as loyalty, courage and honor. Closely related to Bushido are the martial arts such as karate, judo and akido, which samurai often mastered.
This event is free and open to the public.
