Idaho State University College of Arts and Letters to host book publishing seminar with Utah State University Press

POCATELLO—The College of Arts and Letters at Idaho State University will host a book publishing seminar titled “How to Publish with a University Press: Everything You Need to Know from Draft to Contract” with Utah State University Press on Feb. 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. in Rendezvous Suite B.
Rachael Levay, USU Press acquisitions editor, and Kylie Haggen, USU Press assistant editor, will lead the workshop.
The two-hour workshop will address the following topics: revising a dissertation, academic book proposals, the peer review process, securing permissions, contracts, production timelines and marketing.
Levay and Haggen also invite participants to schedule one-on-one meetings to discuss questions related to specific projects and proposals.
