MERIDIAN—Idaho State University’s College of Education is seeking applicants for a new 42-credit master’s program that will enable graduates to serve as school principals, vice principals and athletic directors.
Many school districts in Idaho and across the nation hire school administrators and assign athletic director duties. The new Master of Education in Education Administration with an athletic administration emphasis will prepare students to be effective school administrators and athletic directors, said Howard Gauthier, a sport science and physical education professor based at ISU-Meridian. It’s the only program of its kind in Idaho.
Students can complete their coursework face-to-face in Meridian and Pocatello, online and through distance learning. The deadline to apply for the summer and fall semester is April 1.
