POCATELLO -- The Idaho State-Civic Symphony will bring video games favorites to life during its annual Halloween Family Concert on Oct. 27 in the Idaho State University L. E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.

At 11 a.m., the musicians of the orchestra will play music from some of the most popular video games of all time such as Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic and Super Mario Bros. Accompanied by live gaming on a gigantic screen at Jensen Grand Concert Hall, the audience will feel like a part of the action. Concertgoers are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite video game characters. This program is “Rated E for Everyone,” and suitable for all ages.

At 10 a.m., families can visit an “instrument petting zoo,” where they can experience what it’s like to play an instrument, and participate in other pre-concert activities. Only ticketholders will be allowed into the hall for the concert.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children age 12 and under. They can be purchased at isu.edu/tickets, at the door, or by calling (208) 282-3595.
