Idaho State-Civic Symphony to host red carpet photo event as part of Its largest fundraiser

POCATELLO – The Idaho State-Civic Symphony will host a red carpet photo event in conjunction with the POPS Concert and fundraiser on Friday, March 11, in the Stephens Performing Arts Center Jensen Grand Concert Hall.
The red carpet event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Attendees will be able to pose with instruments from the orchestra. Photographers will take photos and compile them into a slideshow presentation that will play in the concert hall during intermission.
The photo event will run as part of the symphony’s largest fundraiser for the year. Attendees can purchase $1 raffle tickets to win items such as tickets to the Chicago symphony, ISU men’s and women’s basketball season tickets, a wine package or a Montana cabin weekend getaway. Also for sale will be a limited number of $20 tickets for a Mollinelli’s necklace, bracelet, and earring set. Raffle tickets can be purchased in the lobby before the concert and winners do not need to be present to win.
Ticket prices for the concert are as followed: $34 per adult, $18 for students through high school and $12 for third-tier balcony. This concert is the annual fundraiser; no RUSH tickets will be sold. All prices are subject to additional box office fees and credit card charges. ISU students with valid Bengal ID are admitted free.

The Symphony, founded in the early 1990s, is a cooperative ISU/community effort. Performing in the Joseph C. Jensen Grand Concert Hall of the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center, the Symphony’s regular performance schedule consists of five classical concerts, a Pops concert, and Family Concerts. The Idaho State-Civic Symphony Association, governed by a 30-member volunteer board of directors with the assistance of the Executive Director, provides funding and support for both the orchestra’s performances and educational programs.
