Guest Professor Melanie Rutkowski to present at ISU on control of tumor progression by body’s microorganisms

POCATELLO — The Idaho State University biology sciences department has invited Melanie Rutkowski, an assistant professor at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, to give a presentation on the interaction between the human body's microorganisms and tumor growth.
The presentation will be April 21 at 4 p.m. in Lecture Center 10 on the ISU campus. It is free to attend.
The presentation is titled "The ecology from within: Systemic control of tumor progression and anti-tumor immunity by the commensal microbiota.”
