ISU College of Business Professional Development Week set Sept. 6 – 9

The Idaho State University College of Business is excited to announce the events of the annual Professional Development Week 2016 that are for Idaho State University students. The events are as follows:
• Tuesday, Sept. 6 - "Etiquette Lunch" presented by Fastenal, noon – 1 p.m., Pond Student Union Little Wood River Room.
Keep those elbows off the table! Learn how to conduct yourself at formal business lunches by practicing at the Etiquette Lunch. Space is limited, so please pick up a registration form in the College of Business main office or Suite 510 in the Business Administration Building.
• Wednesday, Sept. 7 - "Backpack to Briefcase" presented by Moss Adams, Pond Student Union Little River Room, lunch at noon, speaker 12:20 – 1 p.m. Worried about making the transition from school to the real world? Fear not. Accounting firm, Moss Adams, will be giving students the need-to-know on what to expect from their first "big kid job."
• Thursday, Sept. 8 - "Career Fair," 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., College of Business Lobby; "Meet the Firms," 6 – 8 p.m. Pond Student Union Ballroom. Looking for a job? Be sure to dress your best, bring your resume and come to our College of Business specific Career Fair. Nineteen businesses are registered so there are tons to choose from.
Interested in a career in accounting? Join us for our annual Meet the Firms event. Local and regional accounting firms attend this event to network with our best and brightest students. For more information contact Jennifer Donaldson at donajen2@isu.edu.
Friday, Sept. 9 - "Accounting Career Vision Symposium," 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center. Welcome to the wonderful world of accounting! Attend our Accounting Symposium to learn more about what you can do with your degree in accounting. Network with firms who are interested in hiring students. Registration forms are in the College of Business main office or Business Administration Building, Suite 510.
