ISU’s Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action and Diversity Office to present webinar on sexual assault June 18
June 5, 2015
The Idaho State University office of Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action and Diversity will present a webinar on trauma informed response to sexual assault on June 18, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Rendezvous Complex Suites A, B and C.
The free webinar features Rebecca Campbell, professor of community psychology and program evaluation at Michigan State University. Campbell’s research is changing the way the public responds to sexual assault crimes and interacts with assault victims. The webinar’s goal is for participants to learn more about victims’ responses to trauma. This new information can help victims of sexual assault and other traumatic crimes.
The event will also feature a follow-up panel with Stacey Gibson, ISU’s Title IX coordinator; Shannon Lynch, chair of the Department of Psychology; Jacob Johnson, director of student life; and Kristin Stewart Yates, counselor, ISU Counseling and Testing Center.
Light refreshments will be served.
