April 22, 2015
Idaho State University-Meridian video instruction manager Jerry Jones has achieved certification in the programming of advanced TesiraFORTÉ audio processors.
ISU’s Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree program employs modern audio visual technology to leverage the talents of faculty and guest lecturers. Almost every hour on the hour, an ISU instructor or guest lecturer delivers course content to 72 physician assistant students distributed across Idaho in three digital audio and video equipped classrooms, which are currently located at ISU locations in Meridian, Pocatello and The College of Idaho in Caldwell.
Digital video and microphone technology allows instructors and students at all locations to discuss health science topics and share rich media via live teleconference. The TesiraFORTÉ processors employed by ISU ensure clean, crisp audio and are manufactured by Biamp Systems, a leading high tech manufacturer located in Beaverton, Oregon.
