Idaho State University welcomes Frank C. Stewart as new development officer for the College of Science and Engineering

POCATELLO – Frank C. Stewart has joined the Idaho State University development team as the senior development officer for the College of Science and Engineering.

Stewart comes to ISU after 13 years of fundraising at Utah State University. He has been involved in facilitating major gifts for scholarship endowments, endowed chair positions, three separate building projects, and the naming of the College of Education at Utah State University.

Frank Stewart“We have students from all over Idaho and all over the world at ISU and seeing their success is what drives me in this work,” Stewart said. “The potential is enormous here because we have such a great base of alumni and friends for the College of Science and Engineering. This is an exciting time for us to have the opportunity for developing a culture of philanthropy on behalf of our students and faculty programs.”

Stewart holds the Certificate of Fundraising Management from the Indiana School of Philanthropy.

Born and raised in Logan, Utah, Frank and his wife Nancy have four adult children and six grandchildren. Nancy teaches elementary education at the Utah State University Edith Bowen Laboratory School.

As an avid sports enthusiast, Frank looks forward to attending campus athletic events and cheering on the Bengals.

Stewart will coordinate with faculty and staff in the College of Science and Engineering to support development efforts that will enhance the continued excellence of the College.
