Collette Wixom-Call joins Idaho State University’s development team

Collette Wixom-Call is the new director of development for the Idaho State University Division of Health Sciences.

“I am thrilled to be here at Idaho State University. My family and I have a number of personal connections with both the University and the area. I look forward to engaging with a community that is so rich with educational opportunities and outstanding scholarship,” she said.

Wixom-Call joined ISU in March after holding numerous development roles at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts from 2008 through 2014. Positions included senior regional director of major gifts, assistant director of reunion giving, and development specialist.

While at Harvard, she took graduate-level classes in environmental management and completed management and professional fundraising courses through the university’s continuing education program.

An active member of the Council for Advancement and Support for Education, Wixom-Call has also been involved with the IVY + Conference for Higher Education, a development-focused conference for Ivy League universities.

Prior to her development career, Wixom-Call worked for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Boston and at the Tautphaus Park Zoo in Idaho Falls.
