Tommy Ahlquist to speak at Idaho State University Bengal alumni luncheon Oct. 13 in Boise

Businessman Tommy Ahlquist will talk about his vision for downtown Boise and how to further Idaho’s economic development during a luncheon presentation Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the East Conference Room of the Joe R. Williams Building, 700 W. State St., in Boise.

The event—sponsored by the Idaho State University Alumni Board of Directors and Treasure Valley Chapter of the ISU Alumni Association—kicks off this year’s Bengal Brown Bag Speaker Series and is open to the public.

Ahlquist is chief operating officer of the Utah-based Gardner Co., which completed the Eighth & Main Building in 2014 and is currently constructing City Center Plaza, a downtown retail, office and transit project. Ahlquist is a former ISU Foundation board member.
