POCATELLO — Idaho State University alumni, students, faculty, staff and the public have the opportunity to spend ‘A Day at the North Pole’ featuring Christmas crafts and other activities Saturday, Dec. 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Events planned for the day include Christmas crafts, and soup and rolls will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for lunch. Students and children can also come and get pictures taken with Santa. The ISU Student Activities Board will host the event, which will take place in the Wood River Room, located in the Pond Student Union.

The event is free for ISU students and faculty. Cost to the public is $3 or the donation of a canned food item, or $10 for families.

“It’s definitely going to be an interesting event,” said Jenna Bobroski, family event programmer for the Student Activities Board. “We’re working hard and doing a lot of decorating leading up to the event, it’s really like walking into a winter wonderland.”
