For the third straight year a lucky Bengal will win a Ruckus scooter at Welcome Back Orange and Black

POCATELLO – Winning a Ruckus scooter is another good reason for Idaho State University students to attend the Welcome Back Orange and Black celebration from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 24 in Old Town Pocatello.
This annual event to honor and welcome ISU students back to the Pocatello community features participants free food, T-shirts, music, entertainment, games and a variety of great prizes including a chance at a free car, a free bike and a variety of other prizes.
This is the third year that Idaho Central Credit Union has donated a Ruckus.“We love ISU and the community,” said Michael Watson, ICCU marketing manager. “We have many ISU graduates that work for Idaho Central, and we plan on hiring more. Welcome Back is a fun way to kick off the school year, meet the students, and show our Bengal Pride.”
Watson said ICCU enjoys giving a prize like this to an ISU student.
“A Ruckus is a great mode of transportation for a college student,” Watson said. “Honestly, I wish I would have had one when I was going to ISU.”
This kick-off party for the Bengal school year will feature KORR 104’s on-air personality Kelly Martinez as master of ceremonies, and music and karaoke will be provided by Just Dance. ISU entities on hand will include the Bengal cheerleaders, athletes, Bengal Dancers, the ISU Marching Band and Benny the Bengal.
There will also be dozens of booths manned by local businesses and restaurants, which will be providing free food samples, coupons and drawings to promote their goods and services.
“It is a pleasure to participate in this event,” Watson said. “Idaho Central looks forward to it each year because it is a fun environment, many vendors get involved and show their school spirit, and the students are always energetic. What’s not to love?”
