POCATELLO — Idaho State University LEAD Center is sponsoring three holiday projects this December including “The Angel Tree Project,” a gift support drive; “Share the Warmth,” a blanket and coat drive; and “Feast for Benny’s Pantry,” a food drive geared for holiday feasts.
The Angel Tree Project provides ISU students with the chance to donate gifts for children of ISU families in need. The tree is located in the lobby of the Pond Student Union Building. Interested donors may select an angel from the tree Nov. 30-Dec.11. To add a child to the tree or for more information visit http://isu.edu/lead/angeltree/.
The “Share the Warmth” blanket and coat drive will support Aid for Friends. Blankets and coats can be donated at the LEAD Center located in the Pond Student Union Building until Dec. 4. For more information email Katie Nicholls at nichkati@isu.edu or call her at 208-949-0511 or email William Jett at jettwil2@isu.edu or call him at 208-407-8245. “Help keep Pocatello warm” with this drive.
Share the feast this holiday season with Benny’s Pantry Nov. 30-Dec. 18. Benny’s Pantry is in need of all the help it can get in order to give ISU families a holiday feast. There are three ways to donate. Food donations can be made at the Pond Student Union Building Information Desk in Pocatello or the Bennion Student Union Buildings Information Desk in Idaho Falls. Monetary donations can be made at idahostatefoundation.org and faculty and staff payroll deduction donations can be made by visiting http://isu.edu/pantry/.
