Idaho State University to host high school marching band invitational Oct. 4 at Holt Arena

Idaho State University School of Performing Arts music program will host the high school marching band invitational on Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Holt Arena.

The invitational will feature 18 high school marching bands from Utah and Idaho that will complete in four divisions based on member size. The ISU Marching Band will also perform.

“It’s a great opportunity for ISU to get high school students on campus,” said Kevin York, director of athletic bands and event coordinator. “These students will also have the opportunity to experience competing on the field.”

Tickets prices are $8 for adults and $5 for pre-college students and can be purchased at the ticket office inside Holt Arena on the day of the event.
